Nature and Landscape Photography Workshops & Tours across the United States and beyond. Our Photography Tours focus on in field education, classroom lectures on post processing training in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and software plugins. Photo Tours are always small groups and are focused on capturing beautiful landscapes and teaching composition, light and creative seeing.

Spring in the Smoky Mountains - April 13-16, 2018

Prolific wildflower blooms, lush green forests, flowering trees and rushing streams and waterfalls over moss covered boulders and rocks makes the Great Smoky Mountains a magical place in the spring. There's good reason the Smokies are called "Wildflower National Park!" This will be Joe's sixth year leading workshops in the park dedicated to the art and technique of creative nature photography.

Olympic National Park -  May 20-24, 2018 (2 spaces open)

Olympic National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage site—is three parks in one, offering us a unique opportunity to capture magical images of superb coastal, mountain, and rain forest scenery. Here you will find the longest undeveloped coast in the contiguous United States, with pebble-beaches, towering cliffs and offshore sea stacks; rain forests with moss-covered trees (the best example of intact temperate rainforest in the Pacific Northwest); glacier-capped peaks interspersed with extensive alpine meadows; and a stunning variety of marine and mountain plants and animals.

West Virginia Waterfalls - June 1-3, 201.  (sold out)

West Virginia is a mecca for nature and landscape photographers and in late spring the rugged mountains come to life with the blush of spring foliage and rushing waterfalls and cascades. This three day workshop will explore the many waterfalls and mountain streams surrounding Canaan Valley and Blackwater Falls State Parks as well as the rugged canyon overlooks and mountain top vistas of Dolly Sods.

Glacier NAtional Park - July 15-20, 2018  (1 space open)

Glacier National Park boasts some of the finest and most dramatic scenery and wildlife in the Rocky Mountains. Situated on the Canadian border in extreme northern Montana this park is home to towering alpine landscapes ruggedly carved by time and glaciers. The park also has some of the worlds most beautiful mountain lakes, pristine forests, and of course loads of wildlife.

Grand Tetons Autumn - September 22-25, 2018  (3 spaces open)

Grand Teton National Park and the Teton Range have some of the most dramatic scenery in the Rocky Mountains as well as prolific, photogenic wildlife. Late-September brings vibrant fall color and the potential of fresh snow in the mountains to the area’s aspens and cottonwoods as well as moose and elk in rut. With Joe as your guide and instructor, this workshop will bring this magnificent national park to life before your lens.

Autumn in Colorado - September 27 - Oct. 1st, 2018

Southwest Colorado quite possibly could be the crown jewel of the Rocky Mountains. The area features miles of undeveloped, towering alpine mountains, winding country roads with awe inspiring views, myriad lakes and tarns and countless opportunities for intimate  & grand aspen forest scenes. It’s also arguably Colorado’s best fall foliage hot spot.

Autumn in Vermont - October 7-11, 2018  (4 Spaces Open)

There is no question that autumn in Vermont is the most magical time to be out photographing and exploring the natural landscape. From rushing waterfalls and forests draped in autumn color to rolling mountains and quaint New England farms, we’ll visit some of the state’s best scenery and secret spots for dramatic fall color. It truly is one of the best times to visit and photograph Vermont!

Autumn in Acadia NP - October 13-17, 2018  (2 Spaces Open)

Acadia National Park in Maine quite possibly could be the crown jewel of the east coast. The park features miles of undeveloped rocky coast, towering granite summits with awe inspiring views, myriad lakes and ponds and countless opportunities to photograph intimate forest scenes and quiet harbors. It’s also arguably the northeast’s best fall foliage hot spot. Join us for this 5-day inspiration packed exploration of this magnificent park.

Autumn in the Southwest - November 9-15, 2018  

Southern Utah & Northern Arizona, the Colorado Plateau is a nature photographers dream! Towering sandstone, deep canyons, slick rock domes, multi-colored badlands, hoodoo temples, slot canyons and autumn color at this time of the year. This tour will explore the best the region has to offer and is for the fit and adventurous photographer and will include a mix of staying in hotels and camping in the desert wilds.
