Day 1: On Day 1, we meet at noon in Paria, UT at the outfitters. We will have an introductory session, load up into our outfitter’s 4x4 vehicles, and begin the adventurous 4x4 trek out to White Pocket. Upon arrival, our outfitters will set up camp and prepare dinner while we photograph through sunset. After sunset, dinner is served at camp, and then we venture back out for a few hours of nighttime photography.
Day 2: We will be well before dawn to shoot twilight, sunrise and early morning light on the twisted sandstone work of White Pocket. After our morning session, we will return to camp for breakfast prepared by our outfitters and then relax in camp for a couple hours. In the afternoon, we will load up and drive to a trailhead where we will spend several hours shooting one of the worlds most unique slot canyons. We will have packed lunches for the afternoon excursion. After returning to White Pocket, we will head out for a sunset photo shoot as our outfitters prepare dinner for our arrival back to camp. If the conditions permit, we will hike back into the stone for a nighttime photo session.
Day 3: We repeat our schedule from the day before. Around midday, we take a daytime excursion to explore and photograph some off-the-beaten-path areas of sandstone formations. We return to White Pocket for dinner and a sunset shoot. After this, our outfitters pack up camp and drive us back to Paria, UT.
Most of the locations we have scheduled will be within the ability of anyone who is in moderate shape. Although a hike of 4 miles will be necessary to access our slot canyon. A standard liability waiver is included with your booking.
