Dates: March 13-17 2016
The desert southwest and specifically Arches & Canyonlands National Park is one of the most geologically unique and beautiful areas in North America. Arches National Park is home to the largest collection of sandstone arches and natural bridges in the world. Winter light in these two parks can be simply stunning and with the chance of snow dusting the red rock landscape. The La Sal Mountains will be blanketed in white and often times provide the perfect backdrop to dramatic arches, spites and balanced rocks. At night, with crystal clear skies, we will turn our attention to capturing stunning star scales above dramatic desert scenery including arches and towering rock spires.
