Great Smoky Mountains National Park Photography Workshop
Great Smoky Mountains Spring Photography Workshop with award winning professional photographer Joseph Rossbach.
Prolific wildflower blooms, lush green forests, flowering trees and rushing streams and waterfalls over moss covered boulders and rocks makes the Great Smoky Mountains a magical place in the spring. There's good reason the Smokies are called "Wildflower National Park!" This will be Joe's sixth year leading workshops in the park dedicated to the art and technique of creative nature photography.
- Dates: April 23-27, 2017
- Instructors: Joseph Rossbach
- Cost: $1495.00USD
- Deposit: $300.00USD
- Limit of 8
Each day’s schedule varies according to which location we visit that day, how long we shoot and what the weather conditions are. We could photograph all day if conditions are right and then have more class time the following day. Questions and problems will be addressed in the field whenever possible, which is the most effective way to learn nature and landscape photography.
Day 1 night at 5 pm
Opening night presentation, Q&A’s, orientation (it would be a good idea to have dinner on your own before the opening meeting)
Day 2 - 4, Tuesday, Wednesday
Photograph sunrise and/or early morning and late afternoon and/or sunset – and whenever the light is right. There will be presentations and critiques during the day.
Photograph in the morning or have class time; discussion and final thoughts over breakfast. We should be finished by checkout time.
Most of the locations we have scheduled will be within the ability of anyone who is in moderate shape. Although a short hike will be necessary to arrive at some locations, the trails are not trecherous. A standard liability waiver is included with your booking.
Professional one-on-one instruction in the field, expert digital darkroom instruction and critiquing, hours and hours of shooting, many amazing images!
What's Not Included
Airfare, airport fees and taxes, visa fees, meals and transportation (Participants are asked to carpool. Due to liability reasons, we are not able to transport guests).
