Looking to take your creative expression to the next level? Our Photo Workshops are designed to challenge you to reach new heights with your nature photography. Join award winning professional photographer Joseph Rossbach on an intensive, five day workshop in Grand Teton National Park that will help you create photographs you’ve always dreamed of making.
Grand Teton National Park and the Teton Range have some of the most dramatic scenery in the Rocky Mountains as well as prolific, photogenic wildlife. Late-September brings vibrant fall color to the area’s aspens and cottonwoods as well as moose and elk in rut. With Joe and Richard as your guides and instructors, this five-day workshop will bring this magnificent national park to life before your lens.
During this workshop, Joe will teach a variety of techniques that will allow you to advance both your technical skills and artistic vision. We focus on a number of professional field techniques to help you create dramatic and powerful nature images, including working with dramatic light, including sunrise and sunset; the fundamentals of powerful compositions; and abstract techniques for creating artistic photographs. We’ll also teach you professional “digital darkroom” secrets and explore a number of artistic philosophies that will help you find your own personal vision.

We should arrive back in Jackson in time for a late breakfast/early lunch. In the afternoon, if the light is good for shooting we will, but if not we will have breakout post processing sessions. Each evening we will be shooting late afternoon light into sunset and twilight. Arriving back in Jackson an hour or two after sunset.
Weather & Temperatures:
In late September the weather can range from sunny and warm to snowing and cold with temperatures ranging from the mid 40's to mid 70's during the day to at or below freezing at night.
